VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

PARENTS: PLEASE read the following letter. It takes a great deal of volunteers to help our season kick off and run smoothly! Thanks for all you do and your support!

HOG RAFFLE!!

There will be tickets sold for a hog raffle at all high school football games at both Prophetstown and Erie home games.  Each ticket allows two chances to win a half-of-hog.  The drawing will take place on Senior night in Prophetstown on October 13th; participants need not be present to win.  The meat will be available for pick up in early November.  Each ticket is $5.  All proceeds will go to the Thursday night meals provided to football players and cheerleaders.  Tickets can be purchased at any home football game, as well as the Prophetstown District Office and both Erie and Prophetstown high school offices.  Thanks for your support!

RISE AS ONE

CORE 3: VALUES WE STAND FOR

  1. Love, Serve, Care - when 11 men at a time are willing to lay down their personal goals for each other to RISE AS 1, we have something special. Love, serve, and care for one another.

  2. Controllables - You can always control your attitude and effort! you can't control the weather, playing conditions, etc... Focus on your effort (high motors) and your attitude (positive)

  3. WTD - Win The Day. Be better than you were yesterday. Be F.A.T. working on your skills (Faithful, Accountable, Teachable) every day!

CORE 3: VALUES WE DO NOT ALLOW

  1. NO B, C, D! - No Blaming, Complaining, Defending. Be coachable and positive. Our culture will not allow BCD.

  2. NO SOFT! - This is a physically demanding game! we need you to physically prepare.

  3. NO ENERGY VAMPIRES ALLOWED! - We do not allow negativity to suck the life out of our goals and beliefs

What the Weight Room Reveals to Coaches:

  1. Will you make sacrifices for the team and are you self-less?

  2. Are you coachable and can you be trusted? (will you do our workout?)

  3. Will you compete?

  4. Are you committed?

  5. Are you mentally strong? (can you handle setbacks?)

Panther Football Rules

  1. BE ON TIME

  2. BE A GOOD STUDENT

  3. BE A GOOD CITIZEN

I really only have 3 rules, which are listed above. There are too many specifics to list but you can proably come up with scenarios... If that said scenario is not being a good student or citizen that could cost you playing time or possibly being a member of the Panther Football Team. We expect our players to be leaders, serve others, and be a great teammate.

*CLEATS: make sure your cleats are SCHOOL COLORS. BLACK, WHITE, AND RED or any combination of our school colors but NO neon colored cleats.
